RevisePilot

RevisePilot is a web + desktop app (traditional + AI) that turns messy drafts into a concrete, trackable revision plan. Instead of “AI rewrite my chapter,” it analyzes your manuscript for structural issues (pacing, scene purpose, character goal/conflict shifts, repetition, unresolved setups) and generates a prioritized checklist with estimated effort per task. Each task links to the exact passages involved, so you can fix problems without losing your voice. It supports both fiction and nonfiction by offering templates: plot/arc consistency for fiction; argument flow, evidence gaps, and redundancy for nonfiction. You can import from Google Docs/Word, then work in a lightweight editor or push tasks back as comments. Progress is measured by tasks completed and manuscript health metrics, not word count. The AI is optional and constrained: it suggests diagnoses and options, not full rewrites, to reduce “generic prose” outcomes.
