RevRecKit is a web app that helps small SaaS companies and agencies sanity-check revenue recognition and subscription accounting without hiring a full-time accountant. You connect Stripe (and optionally QuickBooks Online), import invoices, refunds, credits, and subscription changes, then map products to simple revenue rules (monthly, annual, usage, one-time, setup fees). The app generates a clear schedule of deferred revenue, recognized revenue by month, and variance reports against your books. It flags common mistakes—like upgrades/downgrades handled incorrectly, refunds posted to the wrong period, and annual plans recognized too fast. Export journal entries and an auditor-friendly PDF pack. This is not a replacement for a CPA; it’s a practical “pre-audit” tool that reduces surprises and back-and-forth. Pricing is per connected account and transaction volume, aimed at teams that need confidence before month-end close.
