RevShareIQ is a web app (traditional + AI) that helps state agencies, counties, and municipalities verify and explain intergovernmental revenue-sharing allocations (e.g., sales tax, gas tax, cannabis, lottery, PILT-style distributions). It ingests published statutes/rules, allocation formulas, and source datasets, then reconciles expected vs. received payments and flags anomalies: missing jurisdictions, population/road-mile mismatches, timing lags, and rounding/holdback issues. The AI layer generates plain-language audit narratives and “what changed” explanations for elected officials and the public, while keeping a full calculation trail for auditors. Realistically, this is not a mass-market app; it’s a B2G compliance tool with long sales cycles and heavy data wrangling. But when it works, it saves staff weeks per cycle and reduces embarrassing public disputes over distributions.
