RevTrace

RevTrace is a web app (with optional mobile companion) for state agencies and local governments to manage revenue-sharing programs end-to-end: rules, allocations, disbursements, and audit trails. It ingests source data (tax receipts, fees, formula inputs) from ERP/finance systems, applies configurable allocation formulas, and produces payment schedules, variance explanations, and standardized reports for auditors and oversight bodies. The product focuses on the unglamorous but expensive pain: reconciling why a city’s payment changed, documenting formula changes, and responding to public records requests. It includes role-based approvals, immutable change logs, and export packages that match common audit requests. This is a traditional app with light AI features for document extraction and narrative variance summaries (not a “magic AI” allocator). Realistically, sales cycles are slow and procurement is painful, so the app is designed to start as a narrow, high-value module that can coexist with existing systems.
