RevTrack
RevTrack is a web + desktop companion app for open-hardware teams that keeps PCB, firmware, enclosure, and documentation revisions in sync. It watches your Git repos and CAD exports, then generates a single “release bundle” with immutable version IDs, manufacturing notes, and a verified artifact list (Gerbers, pick-and-place, BOM, firmware binaries, STL/STEP, PDFs). The app flags mismatches like “firmware built from commit X but PCB is rev B” or “BOM changed after last Gerber export,” which are common causes of expensive re-spins. It also produces a shareable public release page for open-source compliance (license, attribution, source links) without forcing you into a new toolchain. This is not a full PLM; it’s a lightweight release gate focused on preventing costly mistakes and making open releases reproducible.
