RevTriage
RevTriage is a web app (with optional browser extension) that helps journal editors and program chairs quickly route submissions to the right reviewers and reduce reviewer fatigue. It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI suggests reviewer candidates, flags conflicts of interest, and highlights missing reporting items, but humans make the final decisions. The core value is operational: fewer days stuck in “finding reviewers,” fewer mismatched assignments, and clearer accountability. The app builds a lightweight reviewer profile from public signals (ORCID, Crossref, OpenAlex) plus optional self-declared expertise and availability. It also provides a structured review template and deadline nudges to reduce late reviews. Realistically, adoption is the hard part: you’ll need to win small journals, workshops, and society venues first, because big publishers already have entrenched systems and procurement friction.
