RewindRoster

RewindRoster is a mobile + web app that helps people quickly organize decades of scattered photos and short videos into a clean, browsable “timeline feed” without becoming a full-time archivist. You import from iCloud/Google Photos, camera roll, and a folder upload; the app clusters items by event and estimates dates using metadata plus lightweight AI inference when metadata is missing. Users can add a few captions, tag people, and publish private “threads” for family or friends with simple permissions. The core is speed: minimal manual sorting, no complicated genealogy features, and no scanning hardware dependency. It also creates a weekly “On this week” digest that surfaces forgotten moments and prompts tiny edits (confirm date, add a name) to gradually improve the archive. Export is first-class: download a structured ZIP + JSON so users don’t feel trapped.
