RideProof

RideProof is a mobile + web app for paratransit providers to verify pickups, drop-offs, and rider readiness with lightweight, privacy-aware evidence. Drivers use a single-tap workflow: arrive, auto-capture GPS + timestamp, and (optionally) capture a quick photo of the vehicle at the curb or a rider-confirmation PIN/QR shown by the passenger or caregiver. Dispatch gets a real-time feed that flags likely issues (wrong entrance, rider not ready, blocked curb, unsafe conditions) and suggests next actions before a trip becomes a costly failure. The goal isn’t “perfect truth”—it’s reducing he-said/she-said disputes, improving documentation for contractors and agencies, and lowering wasted miles. It’s realistic because it fits existing operations: it doesn’t require new hardware beyond a smartphone, and it can run alongside current scheduling/dispatch systems via simple exports and limited integrations.
