RightSeat

RightSeat is a web app (with Slack/Teams integration) that forces teams to define who decides what—before work starts. It provides lightweight “Decision Cards” tied to projects, budgets, vendors, product changes, and policy updates. Each card captures the decision owner (D), required approvers (A), consulted roles (C), informed groups (I), thresholds (e.g., spend limits), and a timebox. The app routes approvals, records rationale, and creates an immutable audit trail so decisions don’t get relitigated. A simple dashboard shows bottlenecks (where decisions stall), overloaded decision owners, and recurring “decision debt” areas. This is a combination traditional + AI app: AI suggests likely decision owners and approvers based on org chart, prior decisions, and meeting notes, but humans must confirm. The goal is fewer meetings, fewer reversals, and clearer accountability.
