RightsRadar
RightsRadar is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) for sports media teams that publish clips fast and can’t afford takedowns. You upload or paste a clip link, select the sport/league, and the app runs a rights-risk check: likely rights holder, typical platform restrictions, geo/territory red flags, music/audio risk, and whether the clip resembles commonly claimed broadcast feeds. It then generates a “safe publish” checklist and recommended edits (crop, mute/replace audio, shorten duration, add original commentary) to reduce claims—without pretending it can guarantee safety. It also logs decisions for compliance: who approved, what sources were used, and what changes were made. The goal is not to replace lawyers; it’s to stop avoidable mistakes and reduce channel strikes, demonetization, and wasted editing time.
