RigSnap
RigSnap is a desktop app (with a lightweight web exporter) that turns layered Illustrator/PSD artwork into production-ready 2D rigs for motion graphics. You import a character or icon set, label layers (or let the app infer them), then generate a bone/mesh rig, constraints, and controller handles that map cleanly into After Effects or Rive. It focuses on the boring, error-prone setup work: consistent naming, pivot placement, parenting, IK chains, and reusable templates for common motions (walk, bounce, overshoot). It’s a combination traditional + AI app: AI helps detect limbs, joints, and symmetry, but the output is always editable with deterministic tools so pros can trust it. The goal isn’t to replace animators—it's to cut rigging time from hours to minutes and reduce export/import breakage.
