RippleCheck
RippleCheck is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps people practice second-order thinking on real decisions: product launches, hiring, pricing changes, policy updates, and personal commitments. You enter a decision, constraints, and stakeholders. The app guides you through a structured “effects map” that forces you to list first-order outcomes, then second- and third-order consequences, plus who wins/loses and what assumptions must be true. An AI assistant critiques gaps (missing stakeholders, hidden incentives, time-lag effects) and generates counterfactuals and pre-mortems, but you stay in control with editable reasoning and citations/notes. It also stores decision logs and later prompts you to review what actually happened, building a feedback loop that improves judgment over time. It’s realistic: it won’t predict the future; it will reduce blind spots and make tradeoffs explicit.
