RiskBrief
RiskBrief is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps organizations communicate uncertainty and risk to non-experts without misleading them. You paste in a draft update (incident notice, project risk memo, safety advisory, earnings guidance), add a few structured inputs (likelihood range, impact range, confidence level, key assumptions, what would change your mind), and RiskBrief generates audience-specific versions: executive summary, customer-facing notice, internal FAQ, and a one-slide brief. It enforces best practices like calibrated language, explicit uncertainty ranges, and “known/unknown” separation, and it flags common failure modes (false certainty, inconsistent numbers, missing caveats, legal-risk phrasing). It also produces a traceable rationale: what data you provided, what the model inferred, and what it refused to assume. The goal isn’t fancy forecasting—it’s reducing reputational damage and confusion caused by bad communication under uncertainty.
