RiskReplay
RiskReplay is a web app (with optional CLI) that helps teams cut regression time by automatically selecting and prioritizing the smallest set of tests likely to fail after a code change. It ingests git diffs, ownership metadata, and historical test results from CI to build a “change-to-test” map, then produces a ranked regression plan per pull request and per release candidate. It also detects when coverage is weak (areas with frequent changes but few tests) and flags “silent risk” hotspots. The goal is not magic: it won’t replace good test design, and it won’t be perfect on day one. But it can quickly reduce wasted CI minutes and shorten feedback loops by focusing effort where failures actually happen. Integrations target GitHub/GitLab, Jenkins/CircleCI, and common test runners (JUnit, pytest, Playwright).
