RiskRibbon

RiskRibbon is a web app (with optional Slack/Teams integration) for project portfolio managers who are drowning in status decks that hide real risk. It ingests lightweight weekly check-ins from project leads (scope change, dependencies, staffing, vendor slippage, spend variance) and automatically builds a portfolio-level “risk ribbon” timeline that shows when risk is rising, why, and which programs are likely to miss key milestones. This is an AI + traditional app: AI summarizes messy updates, detects risk patterns, and drafts mitigation actions; traditional rules enforce governance thresholds and auditability. It won’t replace Jira/MS Project/ServiceNow PPM—those are systems of record. Instead, it becomes the system of early warning and executive-ready narrative, producing consistent, comparable signals across teams without forcing a full process overhaul.
