RitualPing
RitualPing is a mobile app (with optional web companion) that turns long-distance friendship into lightweight, repeatable rituals instead of guilt-driven “we should catch up” messages. Friends pick 1–3 micro-rituals together—like a 2-minute voice note every Tuesday, a monthly “photo dump,” or a shared question on Sundays—and the app schedules, nudges, and tracks streaks without feeling like a productivity tool. It includes async “drop-in” rooms where you can leave short voice/video clips that the other person can respond to later, plus a shared timeline that surfaces highlights and inside jokes. An AI layer suggests rituals based on your chat patterns and time zones, drafts low-cringe check-in prompts, and detects when a friendship is drifting (fewer replies, longer gaps) to propose a reset plan. Monetization: freemium with paid “Circles” for 3–8 friends, advanced analytics, and premium ritual packs.
