RitualRadar

RitualRadar is a mobile + web app that maps living cultural events and practices in your city—things like community dances, religious festivals open to visitors, craft circles, language meetups, and seasonal rituals. It focuses on “show up and participate” culture, not museums or generic attractions. Listings are curated through local cultural stewards (verified hosts) and community reporting, with clear etiquette notes (dress, photography rules, offerings, gender/age norms) to reduce awkwardness and disrespect. The app includes a lightweight booking/donation flow when appropriate, plus a trust system that rewards accurate updates and flags exploitative or staged experiences. This is a traditional app with a small AI layer used for translation, summarization, and detecting suspicious/duplicate listings—nothing magical, just practical. The goal is to make authentic culture discoverable while protecting communities from being overwhelmed or misrepresented.
