RivalRecs is a web app (with a lightweight mobile companion) that recommends what to build, price, and message next by analyzing competitors’ publicly available signals: release notes, app store updates, pricing pages, changelogs, job posts, and customer reviews. You connect your product category, your current roadmap themes, and your target segment. The system then generates ranked recommendations (features, integrations, packaging, and positioning angles) with evidence links, confidence scores, and “why now” reasoning. It also flags fast-moving competitors and detects emerging patterns (e.g., “everyone is adding SOC2 automation” or “usage-based pricing is spreading”). This is an AI app with traditional workflow components: alerts, saved collections, and team sharing. It’s not magic—recommendations can be wrong—but it’s a practical way to reduce research time and avoid blind roadmap bets.
