RMAProof

RMAProof is a web + mobile app that creates a lightweight “chain-of-custody” for returns so merchants can reduce fraud, disputes, and warehouse ambiguity. Customers are guided through a 30–60 second return capture flow: scan the order QR, record a short video of the item + serial/label, and seal the package with a one-time QR sticker. At drop-off or carrier pickup, the QR is scanned again to timestamp custody. In the warehouse, receiving scans the same QR and logs condition with quick photo prompts. The system flags mismatches (wrong item, empty box, swapped serial, late drop-off) and generates dispute-ready evidence packets for payment processors and marketplaces. It won’t eliminate fraud entirely, and some customers will hate extra steps, but it gives ops teams a practical, auditable trail without expensive hardware or full WMS replacement.
