RoadmapDiff

RoadmapDiff is a web app (with optional Slack integration) that creates an auditable “diff” of your product roadmap over time. It snapshots roadmap states from tools like Jira, Linear, Productboard, and spreadsheets, then highlights what changed: moved dates, descoped items, new bets, priority shifts, and ownership changes. Each change can be tagged with a decision reason (e.g., customer escalation, revenue impact, tech risk), linked to evidence (tickets, calls, docs), and assigned an approver. The app generates weekly change reports for leadership and a lightweight decision log that PMs can actually maintain. It also flags “silent churn” in commitments: items repeatedly pushed, repeatedly re-scoped, or constantly re-labeled. This is not a fancy strategy tool; it’s a practical accountability layer that reduces confusion, prevents revisionist history, and makes stakeholder communication faster and less political.
