RoadmapProof

RoadmapProof is a web app (with optional Slack integration) that helps product and engineering teams sanity-check roadmaps against real constraints. You import initiatives (from Jira/Linear/CSV), add rough effort, dependencies, staffing assumptions, and fixed dates. The app runs “reality checks” to flag impossible timelines, hidden dependency chains, overloaded teams, and plans that rely on unstaffed roles. It generates a concise risk register and a set of alternative scenarios (e.g., “hit the date by cutting scope,” “keep scope by moving date,” “add 2 contractors for 8 weeks”) with clear tradeoffs. This is not a full roadmap tool; it’s a validation layer that sits on top of whatever you already use. The goal is fewer executive surprises, fewer death-march quarters, and faster alignment on what’s actually feasible.
