RoamRadar
RoamRadar is a mobile + web app that builds a brutally realistic network coverage map from real-world trips, not carrier marketing. Users (or company fleets) run a lightweight background logger that records signal strength, data throughput, latency, and dropouts, then ties it to location and time. The web dashboard turns that into route-based “confidence scores” for specific corridors: delivery routes, rail lines, rural roads, hiking trails, and event venues. It supports side-by-side carrier comparison, offline “dead zone” alerts, and exportable reports for procurement and planning. This is not magic: the map will be sparse at first and only becomes valuable where you have contributors or fleet data. The product focuses on accuracy, transparency, and repeatability—showing sample sizes, device types, and recency—so teams can make decisions without pretending the data is perfect.
