RoamRelay is a mobile app that manages eSIM connectivity for frequent travelers and remote workers by automatically selecting the best available data profile based on price, signal quality, and latency. Users preload multiple eSIM plans (from supported providers) and set rules like “prefer lowest cost,” “prefer fastest,” or “avoid roaming fees.” The app monitors real-world performance (speed tests, packet loss, drop rate) and prompts a one-tap switch when a better option is available, with clear cost impact before confirming. It also includes a lightweight data firewall to block background data hogs while roaming, plus a travel dashboard showing daily spend, remaining data, and coverage notes by city. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional for eSIM management and rules, AI for predicting which profile will perform best in a location/time window using anonymized performance history.
