RoastLedger

RoastLedger is a mobile + web app for small coffee shops and micro-roasters to track roasted coffee freshness, shrink, and reorder timing with minimal effort. Staff scan a bag’s QR code (or print one in-app) when it’s roasted, opened, moved to bar, or discarded. The app turns those events into a simple “freshness clock” per batch, daily par levels, and a waste report that ties dollars to specific SKUs and shifts. It also suggests reorder/roast quantities using recent sales and seasonality, but keeps the logic transparent so owners trust it. This is not a POS replacement; it’s a lightweight layer that sits next to Square/Toast via CSV import or basic integrations. The goal is fewer stockouts, less stale product served, and measurable reduction in waste—without forcing baristas into tedious counting routines.
