RocketWeld is a mobile + web app for small rocketry teams to capture manufacturing and assembly quality evidence without drowning in spreadsheets. It guides technicians through step-by-step work instructions (bonding, torque, wiring, leak checks), forces required photos/videos, and auto-links each record to a part/serial/lot. The system generates a clean “as-built” package: torque logs, cure times, material certs, nonconformance reports, and sign-offs—exportable as a single PDF bundle for internal reviews, insurers, and regulators. It’s not a simulator; it’s a documentation and traceability tool that reduces preventable mistakes and makes audits survivable. An AI layer can read handwritten shop notes, extract key fields, flag missing evidence, and suggest likely root causes based on prior NCRs. Realistically, adoption hinges on being faster than paper and cheaper than aerospace PLM.
