RoleMapr
RoleMapr is a web + mobile AI-assisted career pathing app that shows how people actually move between industries and roles using aggregated public profiles and opt-in user data. Instead of vague “career ladders,” it builds transition maps: common source roles, typical time-in-role, skills/tools that correlate with successful moves, and realistic pay bands by region. Users pick a target role and get a ranked set of feasible pathways with concrete next steps (projects, certs, portfolio artifacts) and a probability-style “likelihood” score based on comparable transitions. It also flags dead ends: roles that rarely lead to the target, and skill investments that don’t move the needle. The product is blunt by design—if your background doesn’t match common pathways, it says so and suggests adjacent targets that do.
