RoleTrace
RoleTrace is a mobile + web AI-assisted identity exploration app that helps people understand who they are through the roles they actually live: worker, partner, parent, friend, creator, caregiver, etc. Users log short “role moments” (what happened, how it felt, what they did), then the app clusters patterns into role profiles and highlights conflicts (e.g., “High Achiever” vs “Present Partner”). It offers small, time-boxed experiments—like a one-week boundary test or a values-based decision script—and measures outcomes with quick check-ins. The app avoids therapy claims: it’s a structured journaling and experimentation tool with clear privacy controls and exportable summaries. Over time, users build a personal “role map” that shows which roles energize them, which drain them, and what tradeoffs they repeatedly accept. It’s realistic: progress is slow, and the app focuses on consistency over inspiration.
