RollGuard
RollGuard is a web app (with a lightweight Kubernetes operator) that enforces rollout safety gates for Kubernetes deployments. It watches progressive delivery signals (readiness, error rates, latency, pod restarts, HPA thrash, crash loops) and blocks or auto-pauses rollouts when risk thresholds are exceeded. Instead of yet another dashboard, it focuses on a single outcome: preventing bad deploys from spreading. Teams define policies per namespace/service (e.g., “no rollout if 5xx increases >2% in 5 minutes” or “pause if OOMKills occur”), and RollGuard integrates with GitOps and CI to approve, pause, or require human sign-off. It also generates a short incident-style summary explaining exactly which metric tripped, what changed, and the safest next action (rollback, scale, or wait). This is not magic: it reduces obvious failure modes and makes rollouts boring, not perfect.
