RoomFit is a web + mobile app (traditional + AI) that turns a rough room sketch or imported floor plan into a “furnishability-checked” layout. Users enter room dimensions (or scan with LiDAR on supported iPhones), then drag in furniture from a curated library with real-world sizes (IKEA, Wayfair, generic standards). The app automatically flags clearance issues (door swings, walkway widths, egress paths) and suggests alternative placements that actually fit. It outputs clean 2D plans, a simple 3D walkthrough, and a shopping list with dimensions so users don’t buy the wrong size. This is not full architectural CAD; it’s a practical planning tool for normal people and busy pros. Monetization: freemium with paid exports, brand catalogs, and pro subscriptions for stagers/designers.
