RoomFoley is a desktop app (with optional mobile companion) for sound designers who need clean, believable foley and room tone without booking a studio. It guides you through capturing “room fingerprints” (impulse responses, noise profiles, mic position notes) using a simple calibration workflow, then helps you record and organize foley takes with consistent levels and metadata. The AI component suggests mic placement, detects common problems (HVAC hum, clipping, reflections), and can match new recordings to a saved room profile so edits don’t sound stitched together. It exports directly to Pro Tools/Reaper as timestamped, labeled files and can render quick “production-ready” versions with conservative de-noise and EQ presets. This is not a magic one-click Hollywood button; it’s a practical capture-and-consistency tool that reduces re-records, cleanup time, and continuity issues across sessions and locations.
