RoomProof is a mobile + web app that helps high-end home shoppers avoid expensive mistakes by verifying authenticity, condition, and fit before purchase. Users upload listing photos, invoices, and seller messages; the app runs AI-assisted checks for brand/model consistency, common counterfeit markers, and red-flag language. It also creates a “fit pack” using quick room scans and measurements to estimate clearance, delivery path feasibility, and whether pieces will actually work in the space. For resale and vintage, RoomProof generates a standardized condition report with photo prompts, then offers optional third-party inspection booking. The output is a shareable verification dossier you can send to sellers, designers, insurers, or payment providers. This is not magic: it won’t perfectly authenticate every item, but it will catch a meaningful percentage of bad buys and reduce decision friction for legitimate sellers.
