RoomQuestXR is a mixed-reality entertainment app that lets players generate and play escape-room style adventures anchored to their real space. You scan your room, then the app places puzzles, hidden compartments, characters, and clues on real surfaces—under the couch, behind doors, inside drawers—without needing physical props. Hosts can pick a theme (heist, sci-fi, haunted) and difficulty, then the app creates a 20–40 minute session with cooperative roles (Decoder, Scout, Engineer). It supports local co-op on headsets and a “spectator phone” mode so friends without XR can participate by solving ciphers and managing inventory. Monetization is straightforward: sell premium story packs and seasonal events, plus a creator marketplace for community-made rooms. This is entertainment-first, but it’s also a repeatable party activity that doesn’t require a dedicated venue.
