RoomRadar is a mobile AI app that trains and assists spatial awareness indoors using your phone’s camera and motion sensors. It builds a lightweight map of your home, office, or classroom and gives subtle audio/haptic cues to help you orient: where the door is, which way you’re facing, and how far you’ve drifted from a target path. The honest reality: indoor navigation is hard, and perfect accuracy is unrealistic without dedicated hardware. So the MVP focuses on small, controlled spaces and repeatable routes (bedroom-to-bathroom at night, desk-to-exit, etc.). Users can record a “route,” then replay it with guidance, plus get a quick “where am I facing?” check. It’s useful for people with low vision, concussion recovery, and anyone who gets disoriented in familiar indoor spaces. It’s not magic; it’s practical training + assistance where GPS fails.
