RoomRiddle is a mobile app that lets families run short, interactive “escape room” style adventures using everyday household objects. Parents pick a theme (pirates, space rescue, mystery museum), then the app guides setup with simple prompts: place a spoon on the couch, hide a note under a book, tape a symbol to the fridge. Kids scan QR-style symbols or use the camera to recognize placed markers, unlocking audio clues, mini-games, and timed challenges. Sessions are designed for 10–25 minutes, with adjustable difficulty by age. It includes a “no printer” mode using on-screen symbols and a “minimal mess” mode for small apartments.
