RoomRules is a mobile + web app for multigenerational households to set clear, shared expectations and reduce day-to-day conflict. It turns vague “we should talk about this” topics into lightweight, trackable agreements: quiet hours, kitchen cleanup, guest rules, childcare boundaries, elder-care responsibilities, bills, and privacy. Each rule has an owner, a review date, and a simple “works / needs change” check-in so issues don’t fester. The app includes a shared calendar for high-impact events (appointments, school pickups, visitors) and a quick “house status” feed for urgent notes (e.g., someone sleeping, illness, repairs). It’s not therapy and won’t magically fix dysfunctional families; it’s a practical coordination tool that makes expectations explicit and reduces repeat arguments. Optional AI helps draft neutral rule language and summarize check-in feedback into proposed edits.
