RoomToneFix is a desktop app (Windows/macOS) that sits between your microphone and any conferencing/recording app as a virtual audio device. It measures your room and mic in 60 seconds using guided prompts, then applies a lightweight correction chain: noise gating tuned to your environment, adaptive de-reverb, and intelligibility EQ. The goal is not “studio sound” (that’s unrealistic without treatment), but consistently clearer speech for meetings, podcasts, and screen recordings. It includes per-app profiles (Zoom vs. OBS vs. Teams), a one-click “presentation mode,” and a simple meter that warns when your room is too reflective to fix well. It runs locally for privacy, with optional cloud sync of presets across machines. Pricing is subscription with a free tier that limits profiles and disables advanced de-reverb strength.
