RosterGuard

RosterGuard is a mobile + web app for hourly teams that reduces last-minute no-shows by forcing explicit, trackable shift acceptance. Managers publish the roster; staff must tap to accept or decline within a deadline. If someone declines or doesn’t respond, the shift automatically opens to a pre-approved on-call pool with simple rules (overtime limits, skill requirements, fairness rotation). The app keeps an audit trail (who was notified, when they responded, and what changed) to cut down on “I never saw it” disputes. It also sends escalating reminders via push + SMS for critical shifts. This isn’t a full HR suite—it's a lightweight layer that plugs into existing scheduling tools via CSV import/export and a basic API, so small operators can adopt it without ripping out their current system.
