RosterPing

RosterPing is a web + mobile booking system for businesses that schedule hourly staff (cafes, retail, clinics, warehouses) where the real problem isn’t customer appointments—it’s filling shifts reliably. Managers publish open shifts with rules (skills, location, overtime limits). Staff claim shifts in-app, but the system verifies eligibility, confirms within a time window, and automatically backfills if someone doesn’t confirm. It includes lightweight time-off requests, swap approvals, and a “standby pool” that gets notified when coverage is needed. Unlike full HR suites, it’s intentionally narrow: shift claiming + confirmations + coverage automation. It integrates with Google Calendar/Outlook for personal visibility and exports to payroll systems via CSV/webhooks. The goal is fewer frantic group texts, fewer uncovered shifts, and less manager time spent chasing people.
