RosterPulse
RosterPulse is a web + mobile app for public health outbreak response teams to manage surge staffing, assignments, and field task completion without drowning in spreadsheets. It centralizes who is available, what skills they have (contact tracing, specimen collection, vaccination, translation), where they’re deployed, and what tasks are due today. Supervisors can spin up an incident roster in minutes, push standardized checklists to the field, and track completion with simple status updates and offline-capable forms. The app also logs shift hours, mileage, and basic resource requests so finance and logistics aren’t chasing people after the fact. It deliberately avoids being a full epidemiology platform; it’s an operations layer that plugs into existing case systems via exports and lightweight integrations. Realistically, agencies will only adopt if it’s fast to configure, works on low-connectivity sites, and doesn’t require months of procurement-heavy customization.
