RosterPulse

RosterPulse is a web + mobile app for health systems to forecast staffing shortfalls and coordinate last-minute coverage across clinics and departments. It connects to existing scheduling and HR systems (or imports CSVs) to build a real-time “coverage map” by role, shift, and location. Managers see risk scores for upcoming days based on historical absenteeism, PTO patterns, local events, and patient volume proxies (e.g., appointment load). Staff get a lightweight mobile experience to claim open shifts, swap shifts with policy checks, and receive targeted notifications. The MVP focuses on operational basics: visibility, alerts, and fast fill workflows—because most hospitals already have scheduling tools, but they’re bad at cross-site coordination and proactive risk detection. This is a combination traditional + AI app: traditional workflows plus ML forecasting and anomaly detection.
