RosterRelay is a mobile + web app for after-school programs to manage the messy, high-stakes moments: check-in/out, authorized pickups, attendance, and parent communication. Staff use a fast “line mode” to scan a QR code or search a child, confirm pickup authorization, and log time-stamped handoffs. Parents get real-time notifications (“checked in,” “picked up by grandma”), can update authorized adults, and submit last-minute schedule changes without phone-tag. The app also handles incident notes and simple daily summaries so programs can document what happened without writing essays. This is not a learning content app; it’s operations and safety. It’s realistic because most programs still run on paper binders, spreadsheets, and group texts, which fails under pressure and creates liability. Pricing is per site with optional SMS add-on.
