RosterRelay is a web + mobile app for hourly-work employers to fill last-minute shifts quickly and fairly. When someone calls out, managers post an open shift and the system notifies eligible employees based on skills, compliance (age limits, certifications), overtime rules, and availability. Staff can claim with one tap, and the app automatically updates the schedule and logs an audit trail. It also tracks no-show patterns and identifies chronic coverage gaps by location and role so managers can adjust staffing levels instead of constantly firefighting. This is not a full HR suite; it’s a focused “shift coverage engine” that integrates with existing scheduling/payroll tools. The product lives or dies on speed and reliability: fewer calls, fewer mistakes, and fewer angry employees who feel shifts are handed out unfairly.
