RosterRelay

RosterRelay is a mobile + web app for hourly teams that struggle with last-minute callouts and messy shift swaps. Managers publish a roster, and employees can request swaps, offer shifts, or claim open shifts with clear rules (skills, overtime limits, union constraints, minor labor laws). The app focuses on speed: one-tap “I can cover” responses, auto-ranked candidates, and instant approvals when policy allows. It includes lightweight time-off requests and availability capture, but avoids becoming a full HR suite. Integrations target the reality of small and mid-sized operators: export to payroll, sync to Google Calendar, and simple kiosk mode for staff without personal devices. This is a combination traditional app with AI-assisted matching (not a chatbot product). The goal is fewer no-shows, fewer manager hours spent texting, and better fairness transparency.
