RouteDebrief
RouteDebrief is a mobile + web app that helps orienteers and clubs run better post-race analysis without the usual messy file juggling. Athletes upload a GPS track (from watch/phone) and optionally a photo/PDF of the course map. The app auto-aligns the track to the map, detects likely control circles, and segments legs. It then produces a clean split-by-leg view, highlights time-loss zones (hesitations, detours, backtracks), and compares your route to faster runners on the same course. For clubs, it generates a shareable “event replay” page with anonymized leader routes and common mistakes, useful for coaching and juniors. This is an AI-assisted app (computer vision + pattern detection), but it stays grounded: it won’t pretend to know the ‘right’ route—just where you bled time and what others did differently.
