RouteFair

RouteFair is a web + desktop app that helps small businesses and power users detect net-neutrality-adjacent behavior by comparing how different destinations are routed and treated over time. Instead of only measuring raw speed, it runs scheduled multi-path diagnostics (DNS, TLS handshake time, packet loss, jitter, traceroute/MTR-like hops) to a curated list of common services and user-defined endpoints. It flags anomalies like sudden route changes, consistent congestion at specific peering points, or selective degradation patterns that correlate with certain categories (video, gaming, VoIP) without claiming legal proof. Reports are exportable for IT tickets, regulator complaints, or vendor negotiations. Realistically, it won’t “prove” intent, but it can give credible, repeatable evidence that something changed and where it likely happened (home network vs ISP last-mile vs upstream peering).
