RouteProof

RouteProof is a web + mobile AI app that lets teams validate wayfinding and signage plans using real walking routes, not guesswork. Upload a floor plan (PDF/CAD export), place proposed sign locations, and run on-site “walk tests” with a phone: the app guides testers along common journeys (lobby to elevator, parking to clinic, gate to baggage claim) and logs where they hesitate, backtrack, or miss a decision point. It also checks basic compliance rules (mounting height ranges, contrast heuristics, minimum letter height by viewing distance) and generates a punch-list for designers and installers. The output is a simple report: heatmaps of confusion, recommended sign additions/removals, and a prioritized fix list. It’s not magic—garbage plans and bad buildings still produce messy results—but it’s a practical way to reduce costly reprints, change orders, and “we’ll fix it after opening” chaos.
