RouteProof is a mobile + web app for cities and facility operators to validate evacuation and emergency access routes before disasters hit. It combines on-the-ground checklists with lightweight mapping to document choke points: locked gates, narrow turns for fire apparatus, missing curb cuts, blocked stairwells, poor lighting, failing signage, and flood-prone segments. Field staff or trained volunteers run “route audits” and attach geotagged photos, measurements, and pass/fail notes. The web dashboard turns audits into a prioritized punch list with owners, deadlines, and compliance-ready reports for drills, insurance, and grant applications. It’s not a magic prediction tool; it’s a practical accountability system that makes route readiness measurable and repeatable across neighborhoods and campuses.
