RouteReceipt

RouteReceipt is a mobile + web app that turns messy public-transit schedules into defensible “proof packets” for riders and employers. It pulls official GTFS-RT feeds where available, blends them with on-device trip tracking (start/stop, station geofences), and generates a timestamped report showing planned vs actual arrival, missed connections, and disruption notices. The core value is not another map—it’s documentation: one-tap export to PDF/email, automatic commute logs, and configurable thresholds (e.g., “late if >10 minutes”). It also supports refund workflows in cities that offer delay compensation, and provides employer-friendly summaries for commuters who need to justify lateness. Realistically, adoption will be strongest in a few metros with reliable realtime feeds and formal compensation policies; elsewhere it still works as a commute log, but the value is lower.
