RouteWatt

RouteWatt is a mobile + web app that plans EV road trips using charger reliability, not just distance. It blends public data with driver-reported check-ins to score each station by “actually works” probability, typical wait time, and stall availability patterns. The app builds routes with primary and backup charging stops, and it warns you when a stop is trending bad (outages, long queues, payment failures). A lightweight AI layer clusters recent reports, detects suspicious/low-quality submissions, and predicts risk by time-of-day and day-of-week. The business model is simple: freemium routing, plus a paid tier for frequent travelers and fleets that need reliability analytics, exportable reports, and team dashboards. Brutal truth: you won’t beat incumbents on map coverage; you win only if your reliability scoring is meaningfully better and kept fresh.
