RoyaltyAudit

RoyaltyAudit is a web app (with optional mobile companion) that helps creators and rights-holders detect underpayments and reporting anomalies across royalty statements. Users upload PDFs/CSVs from distributors, publishers, PROs, marketplaces, or licensing platforms. The app normalizes line items into a single schema, flags suspicious patterns (sudden RPM drops, territory mismatches, duplicate deductions, negative adjustments, unusual exchange rates), and generates an “audit pack” you can send to a partner: highlighted statement excerpts, calculated deltas, and a clear list of questions. It also tracks contract terms (rates, recoupment, caps, escalators) and compares expected vs paid where data allows. This is not magic: many sources are messy and incomplete, so the product focuses on surfacing high-probability issues and saving hours of spreadsheet work rather than promising perfect accuracy. Pricing targets small-to-mid catalogs with tiered statement volume.
